Introduction

Gradus CLS20/LBS45 is a two-piece PVC-u flooring profile designed to provide cable management for the Gradus illuminated stair edging system or to house the Gradus LED floor loom for walkway and aisle illumination. It has a 5mm gauge in order to accommodate thinner gauge carpets, and provides a safe transition between floorcoverings of different heights. The base is fitted to the floor first to house the cabling, then the top is clipped into place. The top is co-extruded with a clear or smoked window so that light can shine through when used as an illuminated floor system. When fitted, the compressed thickness of the carpet should always be a tight fit to the internal gauge of the combined top/base profile. The base should always be fitted on top of the vinyl floorcovering.
