Introduction

Gradus offers a range of aluminium and PVC-u stair edging profiles that can incorporate either the Continuity or Interlok Advance LED lighting systems. The profiles combine hardwearing channels with slip-resistant pvc inserts, and feature a PVC-u tube that houses the LED lighting and fits securely into the channel. PVC-u channels are clear, allowing light to project through the profile. Therefore, the illuminated stair edging is clearly visible when ascending and descending the staircase, offering additional safety plus an enhanced design feature. Aluminium channels allow light to project from the tube in one direction. The angle at which the illumination is visible depends on the profile design.
