Intelligent Sound & Noise Management System — Herzliya, Israel
For an event venue located directly adjacent to a hotel in Herzliya, Magna-Tech developed and implemented an integrated sound and acoustic management solution designed to deliver a powerful and memorable experience for guests while significantly reducing the impact of music on nearby hotel rooms.
We approached the venue as a complete acoustic environment — combining distributed audio, physical sound experiences, real-time monitoring, intelligent control, and passive acoustic treatment.
Distributed Sound System
A distributed loudspeaker system was designed to provide more even and controlled sound coverage throughout the event area. By bringing sound closer to the audience and carefully controlling individual zones, the system maintains the desired energy and listening experience while operating more efficiently and reducing unnecessary sound propagation beyond the venue.
Feel the Music — Tactile Sound Experience
An important part of the concept is a system of bass shakers integrated into the dance floor, allowing guests to physically feel the music through vibrations transmitted directly through the floor. This adds an entirely new dimension to the experience. Music is no longer perceived only through hearing — it becomes a physical and immersive sensation. The tactile system creates a powerful sense of bass and energy without relying exclusively on increasing acoustic sound pressure from traditional subwoofers. As a result, guests can experience music as more impactful and engaging while the venue can operate the conventional sound system more efficiently.
Combined with the distributed loudspeaker system, this creates a multisensory experience where sound is both heard and physically felt, delivering a distinctive and memorable atmosphere on the dance floor.
Real-Time Acoustic Monitoring & Logging
A network of measurement microphones positioned at strategic locations around the property continuously monitors actual sound levels in real time.
The system does more than simply display how loud the venue is. Measurement data can be continuously logged and stored, creating an objective historical record of acoustic conditions at different locations and times.
This provides the venue and hotel with an important operational tool. If a noise complaint is received, the team can review the recorded data for the exact period in question and determine what was actually happening acoustically.
The monitoring system helps distinguish between different potential noise sources and provides objective information to assess whether elevated sound levels originated from the event venue or from another source in the surrounding environment.
Instead of relying only on subjective perception, the hotel can use time-stamped measurement data to investigate complaints, demonstrate actual sound levels, document compliance where applicable, and support its position with factual acoustic records.
Passive Acoustic Protection
The project combines active sound management with passive acoustic treatment.
Selected specialized acoustic materials for critical areas located close to hotel rooms, creating an additional layer of protection against unwanted sound transmission. In the targeted areas, these solutions provide approximately 50% reduction in perceived sound level, helping further isolate hotel guests from event activity.
One Integrated Acoustic Ecosystem
The effectiveness of the project comes from combining multiple technologies rather than relying on a single solution:
- Distributed loudspeakers deliver sound precisely where it is needed.
- Bass shakers transform music into a physical experience, allowing guests to feel its energy without depending solely on higher acoustic levels.
- Measurement microphones continuously monitor and log the real acoustic environment.
- Historical data provides transparency and objective evidence when investigating noise complaints.
- Acoustic materials reduce sound transmission toward sensitive hotel areas.
Together, these technologies allow the venue to create a stronger guest experience while achieving better control over its acoustic impact.
The objective is simple: maximize the experience where sound and energy are wanted, while minimizing their impact where they are not.
We design not only how a sound system plays, but the complete sound environment — what guests hear, what they physically feel, how sound travels through the venue, how it affects surrounding spaces, and how it can be objectively measured and managed over time.

SALUD! — Professional Sound for an Intimate Tel Aviv Bar
For SALUD! in Tel Aviv, we designed a professional audio system based on loudspeakers from American manufacturer 1 SOUND — a premium audio brand whose solutions are selected for prestigious cultural, hospitality, and luxury environments around the world.
1 SOUND systems can be found in notable projects including The Juilliard School and Lincoln Center in New York, as well as projects for Louis Vuitton SoHo, Dior during New York Fashion Week, Maison Margiela in Tokyo, Holt Renfrew, and other premium destinations.
At SALUD!, we brought the same professional approach to sound into the intimate scale of a neighborhood bar. A compact distributed audio system provides detailed, musical, and consistent coverage throughout the space while maintaining a comfortable environment for conversation.
The objective was not simply to make the music louder, but to create the right sound environment — one where music feels rich and engaging, retains its quality at comfortable listening levels, and remains naturally balanced with the social atmosphere of the bar.
The result is a small venue with a premium professional audio experience — applying technologies and design principles more commonly associated with leading cultural venues, luxury retail, and high-end hospitality projects.
SALUD! demonstrates that the size of a venue should never define the quality of its sound. Even an intimate bar can deliver an audio experience inspired by some of the world’s most prestigious spaces.

At the Nir Elyahu event venue (Gan Eden), Magna-Tech installed a fully automated smart sound system using Q-SYS DSP control, and L-Acoustics sound. The system features a distributed speaker layout for even sound coverage, real-time SPL monitoring, and an adaptive control process that automatically adjusts volume to comply with noise regulations. Along the venue’s perimeter, directional masking emitters minimize disturbance to nearby residential areas. Since installation, the venue has operated without any neighbor complaints while significantly improving sound quality for guests.
